we wanted to add some text which would make the film seem more realistic and make it seem it was based on a real event. In Paranormal activity and The Blair Witch Project they have texts which say it was based on a real event and the killer has not yet been found. When I watched these films I really was convinced that they were real.Firstly we added the first text on a black screen right at the beginning of the film: 'This film is a recreation of case 32 that took place in 2002.' By saying case 32 it makes it seem more realistic and that this actually happened. Then after the title appears a second black screen comes on saying: this case still remains open. We just thought this would give our film more scary opening
