Deciding on the credits font.
Trisha and I started to get cracking on with our credits as this will be quite a long process. We want the credit to be effective and look scary and disoriented. From the research I did I knew what type of font I wanted.
We found a website to download different fonts called http://www.1001freefonts.com/
We downloaded the fonts:
- Carbon Type
- SF Gushing Meadow
- You murderer
I really like this font. The first time I saw this font it reminded me of the film Se7en and the font its very creepy looking.
I thought this one was effective because it's very gory looking; however although i liked it; it didn't really stand out as much.
I did like this one as it stands out and looks as if blood is dripping of, however this is a stereotypical font for a horror movie and I wanted ours to be more original.
We searched many others, but didn't see any more that really caught our eye. The one really liked was Carbon Type which is the font we've decided on. It reminds me of the se7en credits and fits really well with our mysterious murder film.
