Chimes
Whilst watching our film again I was thinking where we could add sound effects. In the background music we want it to be calm, but at the same time dramatic. With the Damian Rice soundtrack I researched previously and some of the saw music added onto as effects the whole piece would fit in well with the film. If we could re-create something similar to this it would sound effective.
At the point where the killer passes the chimes I also thought we could as a chime sound in. For example when you here chimes in the wind; this would sound spooky and raise the level of tension. The chime sound could be a diegetic sound very quietly which would give the spooky alone effect which is being disrupted here.
So far our group haven't started creating music properly so these are just ideas.
