The 'Ring' (2002)
I was browsing through horror/thriller clips today and The 'Ring' 2002 came up so I watched part of it. Part of the stair sequence in the film was a girl going up the stairs gripping the banister and then you see a high angle shot of the girl through the banister. This is what we planned to do as it really does show affect and tense. I love the high angle shot through the banister because it shows power showing the girl is the vulnerable character. This is the part where tension also builds up so adding as many high angle, canted angle etc. shots will empower the tension even more.
